Sydney (dpa) – Malcolm Turnbull has been sworn in as prime minister and is set to take his first Question Time parliamentary session, a day after the Liberal Party ousted Tony Abbott in a leadership ballot.
Turnbull defended the government’s climate change policy, including targets to reduce greenhouse emissions, and said a plebiscite vote would be needed on the issue of same-sex marriage.
