US Judge Rules Against Seizing .5Bln From Afghan Central Bank in 9/11 Case, Documents Reveals

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – A judge at the US District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled against the request by relatives of victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to seize $3.5bln in frozen funds from the Afghan Central Bank in order to pay off debts owed by the ruling Taliban, court documents showed.
