China’s game industry remained strong in the first half of 2019, generating revenue of 116.31 billion yuan ($16.9 billion), with a 10.8 percent year-on-year increase, a new report said Tuesday.
Growth in mobile game revenue surged 18.8 percent year-on-year in the first half, compared to the 12.9 percent increase in the same period last year.
The number of Chinese game players hit a three-year high in the first half, surging 5.1 percent year-on-year to 554 million.
