A 40-year-old man has been taken into custody by the South African Police Service in Senwabarwana, under the Capricorn District, in connection with the murder of his girlfriend.
The incident occurred in Windhoek village during the early hours of Monday, 24 November 2025.
Preliminary police reports indicate that the fatal altercation took place on the evening of Sunday, 23 November 2025. The deceased, a 36-year-old woman from Springfield, was allegedly killed during a domestic dispute with her partner.
The suspect was subsequently arrested by local authorities. Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the murder are ongoing.
