On Monday, 22 December 2025, a 38-year-old Ethiopian national was arrested for possession of suspected stolen property.
The arrest followed a roadblock where verification identified the vehicle as stolen. The vehicle had been reported stolen in Benoni in 2023.
The driver failed to produce documentation for the vehicle when requested. He was subsequently arrested.
The vehicle has been confiscated for further investigation.
