Luping Shi and his team at Tsinghua University recently released the results of a new brain-like computing chip called “tianjichip”. This chip is the world’s first heterogeneous fusion brain chip, as well as the world’s first artificial intelligence chip that can support both pulse neural network and artificial neural network. So far, the result has been published as a cover article in Nature, which has made a breakthrough in the two major fields of chip and artificial intelligence in China.
