Sakeng Emporium is the first neutral platform of its kind, its goal is to create a rewards, loyalty and transformation platform that places the consumer and their needs in the centre.

One of Sakeng Emporium’s first projects is Sakeng Mobile, which is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator and runs on the Cell-C network. Sakeng Mobile is the first community owned mobile network in South Africa ,it is 100% owned by Sakeng Investment Corporation which in turn shares 80% of its proceeds with Sakeng members and the remaining 20% with the Sakeng distribution partners. Which offers some of the best deals to pre-paid consumers such as low international and local call rates and our data bundles start at 25mb for R5.50 valid for 30 days .

Sakeng members are individuals living in South Africa who are willing to join the Sakeng Community ,where they will own 80% of the Sakeng Investment Corporation and the remaining 20% will be owned by Sakeng Distribution partners. Which are all retail stores ,spaza shops ,hairdresser or local fast food shop etc. As much as Sakeng is a platform for consumers ,it is also a business opportunity for all organisations, companies and sole proprieties  to advertise ,engage and earn great exposure to their consumers at a cheaper, larger and effective scale.

This month Sakeng Emporium launched its second project called Sakeng Mobile app, this version of the app aims to introduce members to the concept of Sakeng and give them a glimpse of what the platform will offer in the future. People can download the app from both the Apple iStore and Google Playstore.

Sakeng Emporium  offers its members ,discounts, cashbacks or cheaper products but most importantly it offers equity. By spending time on the platform, members earn “sakas”, a type of virtual share issued by the trust that owns Sakeng Emporium. Sakas are awarded just by interacting with Sakeng Emporium. That’s something anyone can do and it’s not linked to how much money you can spend.

Sakeng is not owned by some big corporation…its owned by the men and women who support it ,its mandate is to further the interest of its members and partners. Sakeng has worked hard to raise funding to offer a free platform to its members and partners ,which implies no membership fees or any compulsory subscription fees and there never will be.
