The Valke kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a dominant 72-28 victory over the Border Bulldogs at Kempton Park, but Boland’s win in the Eastern Cape dashed their top-four ambitions.
The hosts led 48-21 at halftime before accelerating in the second half.
Despite the emphatic win, the Valke fell short of securing fourth place in the standings.
