The fired head of state, who has to face many serious criminal charges, Jacob Zuma, is apparently planning to extend his court hearings as long as possible.

He plans to, not only fight the “battle” within the court, but also in the streets of the cities. Zuma and the people behind the scenes suddenly had to gather R1 million to drive his supporters to court and to provide everyone with T-shirts and posters.

Zuma’s legal representatives are planning to apply for application upon application and to file continual appeals.

Who will eventually bear the costs of this process will certainly be determined by Cyril Ramaphosa after saying that the state will pay Zuma’s legal costs.

It is expected that this announcement by Ramaphosa will also be tested in court.
