It is President Zuma’s fault that South Africa finds itself in an aimless direction without a moral compass, and then white people are blamed for the failures of the president, said Dr. Pieter Groenewald, leader of FF Plus.
Dr. Groenewald also said during the debate on the State of the Nation speech that he is ashamed of what happened in the parliament and apologized to the public of South Africa for the behavior of some members of parliament.
“They will see that disputes and differences are resolved by shouting at each other and swearing, and you must be silenced by force. It is so bad that one sometimes is embarrassed to say you are a member of parliament.”
Dr. Groenewald said the country must find its moral compass and said it was the president’s fault that South Africa has lost its moral way. Dr. Groenewald spoke about Zuma and the Constitution and explained that the people are following the leader. If the president can break the laws, the people mimic their leader.
Regarding the radical economic transformation plan spelled out in the president’s speech, Dr. Groenewald said: “one can only look at the ANC government’s track record to realize the implication”. The failures of SAA, SA Express, and Eskom were mentioned. Dr. Groenewald suggests that a moratorium is placed on black economic empowerment (BEE) and affirmative action (AA).
“The time has come for the president to say what he has against white people. Every time something goes wrong in the country, he put the blame on the whites of South Africa. He uses whites as a smokescreen to hide his own weaknesses and inefficiencies.”
Zuma said nothing about the 11 farm murders over the past month. It is a shame that whites are always to blame for his own failures,” said Dr. Groenewald.
