The renowned Deputy Director of Public Prosecution, Nomgcobo Jiba, and Special Director of Public Prosecutions Lawrence Mrwebi must face disciplinary steps, according to the Gauteng High Court.
Jacob Zuma is ordered to take action against the two, and the judge ordered both to be suspended pending the investigation.
Both have already been struck from the role of advocates but are currently in the process of appeal.
Shaun Abraham’s decision not to investigate allegations of fraud and perjury against Jiba was also set aside. Both are forbidden to continue with their work and may not enter the offices of the NPA.
