President Jacob Zuma is fueling racial hatred with his statements that land is the cause of poverty, inequality, and unemployment in the country and that the land was stolen in South Africa. With this remark, Zuma targets whites in South Africa as if they are the cause of poverty, inequality, and unemployment. It is also said regularly in parliament by the ANC and EFF that whites stole the land.
So said the leader of the FF Plus, Dr. Pieter Groenewald, in a statement issued on Human Rights Day.
Currently, as Human Rights Day is known, it is essentially Sharpeville Day; during March 1960 in which 69 people were shot dead by the police when the protest became violent.
The day is used especially by ANC politicians once again to keep their anti-white speeches and show the badness of apartheid. Also, the DA leader Mmusi Maimane took the opportunity to show how bad apartheid and colonialism is, and used the opportunity to once again repudiate his predecessor, Helen Zille, about some of her comments.
Dr. Groenewald said Zuma and the ANC make Human Rights Day an empty shell that cannot be celebrated in any way. “The ANC’s greatest achievement since 1994 is certainly that they managed to alienate mostly all the minorities in the country.”
“The ANC’s policy of racial classification in the economy through affirmative action and black economic empowerment creates exposed deep racial divisions in a country where everyone’s contribution is needed to tackle growing the economy and poverty.” Dr. Groenewald said whites are prejudiced by ANC legislation.
