Have you ever heard or seen a president from Africa taking responsibility for his wrong actions?
It is puzzling to try and understand how Jacob Zuma an illiterate person can be so intelligent and fool all the combined intelligence of the smart people in South Africa. How have all the intelligent people in South Africa failed to sack this president?
Do you remember that the Italians had their president Silvio Berlusconi convicted when they found out he was a thief? Is it the failure of the voters to prosecute and convict a corrupt leader that utters the level of mentality in this country? The ill-planned smear campaigns where voters shout out “let us welcome Zuma with joy and happiness, the king of kings, the conqueror of apartheid, the man of the people, the voice of the poor and an inspiring cadre of the African National Congress (ANC), at all times, President Zuma is in the house.”
When Jacob Zuma says, “The ANC movement is under attack” why don’t the people ask what, why or by whom? Surely the ANC is not under attack by aliens. No, the clowns will fight for and defend fellow criminals without asking and knowing what is going on. That is the 62 percent food parcel party followers.
It is said that the government talks left but walks right. When pressure from society brings embarrassment to the leaders, the party chooses to complicate, confuse and spin tales. We often hear about projects that the ANC will undertake, but all it is another failed turnaround strategy. What progress has been made, yet there is the failing service delivery, economic growth, and no good governance?
If the leadership across the political, business and social spectrum does not redeem itself, then the people who voted for this government will suffer from lack of dignity and self-esteem. South Africa needs strong leadership and a stable society to bring about economic growth. Unfortunately, the current leadership can no longer be trusted and remains a poor performing government. The ANC Liberation fighters who are now ruling South Africa are not ruling using moral principles, but rather by corruption. Today it is a sad tale that the country is tumbling down.
