Doonside – The body of a woman was found murdered in dense coastal bush in Doonside. Police have identified the young girl as an 18-year-old who was staying in an adjacent block of flats.
She is from Gauteng and was on holiday.
Friends in the vicinity helped identified her through a distinctive tattoo. However her next of kin have yet to be informed, hence her name has not been released.
Capt Charlene van der Spuy of Amanzimtoti SAPS said the teen had been stabbed, but the instrument used to stab her had not yet been confirmed.
