The persistence of police in the Wolseley policing precinct to combat crime were rewarded when they confiscated a huge consignment of drugs on Saturday, 18 March 2023.
The members were busy with stop and search operations when they followed up information and proceeded to an address in Madini Street, Pinevalley.
Upon arrival at the identified address they ensued with a search of the house and the occupants and further proceed to search the yard, where they found 24 700 mandrax tablets packaged and hidden in the garden.
They subsequently arrested a 46-year-old female and detained her on a charge of dealing in drugs.
Once charged, the suspect are expected to make a court appearance in the Wolseley Magistrate’s Court on the mentioned charge.
