Two suspects arrested and 1429 Crayfish tails confiscated in Elands Bay.
On Monday, 27 March 2017 at about 11:45, an Inspector of the Department of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries was busy with inspections at Elands Bay when he spotted a vehicle towing a boat. Upon further investigation, he discovered two suspects in possession of 1429 Crayfish tails. The two suspects were immediately arrested.
The boat and other equipment were confiscated and handed in as exhibits.
