Nyanga police ensured that perpetrators are brought to book when they traced wanted suspects on a robbery case on 18 October 2018 in Cyril Ramaphosa informal settlement, Nyanga. The complainant in the case was with the police and he pointed out the two men who robbed him. The suspects tried to evade arrest however with no success.
Both men aged 27 and 28 years old were searched and two firearms were found in their possession. Upon a further search in their shack, a hand grenade was found.
The suspects will appear in the Athlone Magistrates’ court where they are facing charges of possession of illegal firearms and dangerous explosive item.
