Two zip guns plus ammunition were recovered by Strandfontein SAPS members. On Monday 10 July 2018, at 06:00 police followed up on information received related to a murder which occurred on Friday 6 July 2018, at Leander Road in Bay View.
Members acted on this information and found the zip guns buried on an open field. No arrest has been made yet and an inquiry was opened by Strandfontein detectives. The zip guns were booked into the SAPS property register.
