Swift response by Flying Squad members led to the arrest of two hijacking suspects, aged 30 and 31 years, in Blackheath just after 21:00. They were found in possession of the truck that was hijacked yesterday afternoon in Elsies River.
Another two hijacked vehicles were also found at the premises.
Two unlicensed firearms, two SAPS reflector jackets, photo copy of SAPS identification cards and a blue light were recovered.
The suspects will appear in court facing various charges including hijacking and possession of unlicensed firearm.
