In the early hours of the morning of 12 May 2019, a Time link cargo truck was driving at De Doorns, a town in Cape Winelands District when a rock was thrown from a bridge and hit the steering wheel and driver lost control.
The truck was then looted and in the ensuing stampede the driver was trampled and has sadly passed away. The other driver was injured.
This is no accident, this is murder, where are the police.. We have seen plenty of times the police stand idly by and watch looters empty a truck..
