Following a business robbery at a supermarket in Kalbaskraal, Malmesbury that left three people dead and two injured, organised crime detectives and Milnerton cluster investigators have been hard at work. Early on the morning of 26 August 2019, in a tracing operation in Bellville South they arrested two suspects aged 34 and 35.

One other suspect is held for questioning and the team of detectives is on the heels of two other suspects.

Reports indicate that during the robbery four suspects entered the business, took a substantial amount of cash and shot the occupants.

The operation is currently in progress and more arrests are imminent.

Late on 26 August 2019, the police arrested another two suspects aged 43 and 48 in connection with the triple murder in Kalbaskraal which brings the total of arrest to four. The two suspects have been positively identified with the other two already in custody.

The suspects will appear in the Malmesbury Magistrate court on Wednesday 28 August 2019. The police are still looking for a fifth suspect, the investigation is ongoing.
