Partnership policing in Ravensmead resulted in the arrest of three suspects yesterday, 6 September 2018, and three firearms being confiscated after the community provided valuable information to our members on patrol.
At around 07:15 a 32 year old suspect was arrested in Aalwyn Street, Uitsig after he was found in possession of a 9mm pistol and seven rounds of ammunition. Later the same day at around 18:45 two suspects, a female and a male both aged 58 were arrested in Clare Street Connaught Estate after they were found in possession of a 9mm pistol and a .38 Special and 20 rounds of ammunition.
All three suspects are due to make a court appearance in Goodwood on Monday to face the charges against them.
The eyes and ears of the community are valuable crime fighting assets and information about criminal activity is highly appreciated.
