At 08; 50 today, a motorist called the Vetus Schola Group Control Centre whilst travelling in Gerber Boulevard. The driver observed a male accompanied by two females pushing a wheelie bin containing metal railway tracks.
H14 Rodney of Vetus, was dispatched and caught the suspects, as they were moving towards the back of Engen Garage in Potgieter Street.
The Strand SAPS was contacted and constable Shiloh responded. The suspects were arrested for theft.
The investigation is ongoing.
