Members of Operation Restore deployed in the Harare policing precinct ensued with a search of a premises in Makhaza, Khayelitsha on Thursday evening following the pursuit of information received that was operationalised. The members arrested a 21-year-old male when they found 58 packets containing crystal meth, 87 quarter mandrax tablets, two sachets crushed mandrax powder and an undisclosed amount of cash in his possession.
Meanwhile, Operation Restore members deployed in the Philippi East area searched a premises in Nontulo Street, New Crossroads last night and found 47 ecstasy tablets in the possession of a 41-year-old man. He was arrested for the illegal possession of drugs.
The arrested suspects will make their respective court appearances in the Khayelitsha and Athlone Magistrates’ courts today.
