An integrated operation between Public Order Police, Metro Police and other governmental departments in Hout Bay on Monday evening, 29 April 2024, led to the arrests of two males aged 34 and 37 for the possession of crayfish.
The members conducted an intelligence driven operation at an identified premise in Atlantic Skipper Road, ensued with a search of the premises, and confiscated 402 crayfish and 6250 crayfish tails of which the suspect could not produce a permit.
The suspects are due to make their court appearance in the Wynberg Magistrates’ court on Thursday, 02 May 2024, on the mentioned charge.
