Cape Town police arrested a man following a Business Robbery that occurred on the morning of 13 April 2019, at jewellery shop in Prestwich street, Cape Town. The complainant received a call from a client who informed him that he is a traffic officer and that he needed to get a ring.

The complainant went to the shop and a man who was dressed in traffic uniform arrived. The victim opened the door and two other men forced the door open. The suspects attacked the victim and hit him with unknown object on his head.

They smashed two display classes and took rings. They fled the scene, three vehicles were involved.

The preliminary investigation by the detectives led to the arrest of a 32 year old man who was driving once of the suspect’s vehicles. Once he has been charged he will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court.
