The members of Villiersdorp CPU acted on information about dagga that was kept in a house in West Side, Goniwe Park in Villiersdorp on 4 February 2020.
The members drove to the mentioned address and entered the premises where a further search was conducted and it led in the seizure of 92 kilograms of dagga including two possible stolen laptops were also confiscated. The value of confiscated items is yet to be determined.
A 26 year old suspect was arrested and he is expected to appear in the Caledon Magistrates’ court for possession of dagga and presumed stolen property.
