In pursuit of justice, Flying Squad members reacted on intelligence of an unlicensed firearm at a Langa residence on the morning of 16 March 2019. They conducted a search of the premises, and instead of the firearm they came across mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R10 000-00 and presumed stolen electronic equipment and printing supplies estimated at around R40 000-00.
The suspect, a 31 year old man was arrested and is due to face the charges against him in court on Monday, 18 March 2019.
