Vigilant police seize Abalone worth R225 000-00
While vigilant police from Philadelphia SAPS were doing crime combating patrols on 22 January 2018, they observed a Toyota Conquest motor vehicle that appeared to be suspicious. They stopped it and conducted a vehicle search.
Abalone weighing 15 kg, worth an estimated street value of R225 000-00, was discovered .
A 30-year-old man was arrested, and once charged, will appear in the Malmesbury Magistrates’ court.
