Thorough investigation by the Cape Town Central detectives and other SAPS members led to the arrest of a suspect for the murder of John Curran (60) whose body was found in his room on 7 November 2018, at 09:25, at Buitengracht Street, Cape Town.
Detectives followed up on leads and a suspect was circulated. The 24 year old man was arrested in Voortrekker road last night, 23 November 2018, and he is expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 26 November 2018 where he is facing a charge of murder.
The provincial commissioner of the Western Cape, Lieutenant General Khombinkosi Jula commended the investigators for their dedication and living up to their mandate to bring the perpetrators to justice.
