Yesterday, 8 June 2016 at about 08:30, a 26-year-old man was arrested in Nederpark area, Mbekweni, after the Crime Prevention Unit members received information about the suspect selling drugs in his shack.
Upon arrival they found him inside the shack and during the search, seven sachets of Tik (crystal meth), 19 Dagga (cannabis) cigarettes and mandrax tablets were confiscated.
The suspect will appear in the Paarl Magistrates’ Court today.
