Members of the Maitland Flying Squad responded to a business robbery in Simons Town on Tuesday, 16 November 2021.
The vehicle used by the suspects was spotted near to Wynberg, after being followed by integrated forces in an unmarked vehicle.
The police members searched the vehicle and the occupants, and confiscated a pistol as well as an air pistol. Four suspects, aged between 34 and 39, were arrested and detained on charges of business robbery and possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition
Once charged they are expected to make a court appearance in the Simons Town Magistrate court.
