SAPS operation makes 440 arrests, Milnerton cluster

The Milnerton Cluster’s tracing operations kicked off on Tuesday 6 February 2018 and the objective of the operation was to focus on drugs, illegal firearms, aggravated robberies, counterfeit goods, stolen vehicles and hijacking.

During the operation a total of 440 people were arrested.

The following actions were performed:

359 stop and search operations during which 846 persons were searched, 156 vehicles were searched, 137 premises were searched, 18 illegal outlets were searched and a total of six traffic fines were issued, to the value of R6800.

During operations in Du Noon and Atlantis the police confiscated dangerous weapons, drugs, counterfeit cigarettes, alcohol, and an imitation firearm, and retrieved stolen property.
