Efforts to ensure that criminals are brought to book in the Wynberg Cluster were made in the form of operations during this weekend of 10 and 11 February 2018, which resulted in several suspects being arrested.
The operation was regarded as successful and similar operations will continue in order to turn up the heat for criminals.
On Sunday 11 February 2018, at approximately 3:30, members of Wynberg SAPS followed up information about alleged dealing in narcotics taking place at Grand Central, Main Road, Wynberg. The members searched a residence and confiscated 34 packets of tik, 31 units of heroin, 15 rocks, 12 whole mandrax tablets, 19 half mandrax tablets, an amount of loose dagga; and seven tik lollies.
A 33 year old man was arrested on the scene and charged with dealing in narcotics.
