Police investigation into the fatal shooting incidents yesterday in Hanover Park, Western Cape led to the arrest of a suspect in his twenties on a charge of murder.
The suspect is linked to the murder of a 20 year old male who was shot and killed at 11:15 in Groenall Walk and he is due to make a court appearance on Monday 2016-07-11.
The circumstances surrounding the other cases which also occurred yesterday are still under SAPS investigation.
At 05:15 a 23 year old man was shot and wounded close to the bus terminus in the area and at 09:10 a 27 year old man was shot and killed in Athens Walk.
During this incident three males aged 32, 33 and 40 and an eight year old girl were caught in the crossfire during the gun battle and injured.
