Four suspects who robbed a shop in Bredasdorp on the afternoon of 26 November 2018, were no match for the police. Shortly after the suspects fled the crime scene, where they held the owners of a spaza shop at gunpoint, two suspects were arrested by quick responding police.
This arrest led police to the other two suspects. Two unlicensed firearms, cellular telephones and their loot were recovered.
Once charged, the four suspects are due to make a court appearance in Bredasdorp.
The Western Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Jula praised the members for their vigilance and swift response in bringing the perpetrators to book.
