Three hundred unscrupulous protesters set buildings on fire in Hout Bay, including the building of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
By early Sunday afternoon police clashed with the group who fired flares on the police. Roads were blocked and two houses as well as the police’s boat shed and a factory was burned.
The action is apparently as a result of the death of a suspect by the police.
