Da Gamaskop police near Mossel Bay is seeking the assistance of the public with any information about the whereabouts of Petrus Groenewald (70) from Keurboom Street, Hartenbos who was reported as missing by his wife on Tuesday, 09 March 2021.

The man left his residence in his vehicle, a white Toyota Hilux bakkie, on the mentioned date and never returned. He was dressed in a black short and a grey T-shirt at the time of his disappearance.

His vehicle was found abandoned next to the road near Saasveld on Wednesday morning 10 March 2021, by Public Order Police members who patrolled the area. A search party consisting of various role-players was later dispatched to the area where a search operation was launched.

The search for the man has continued without any trace of him.
