WESTERN CAPE – An intelligence-driven raid under Operation Lockdown III has led to the arrest of a 34-year-old male suspect for gang-related activities in Ravensmead. The apprehension occurred after police uncovered a prohibited firearm, illegal drugs, and an undisclosed amount of cash during a targeted search of a residence in Uitsig.
According to a South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson, the operation was executed on Sunday, 12 July 2026, at approximately 20:05.
