Nearly 30 percent of WC police fail firearm competency test

More than 4 500 police members could not pass their firearm competency test in the Western Cape.

This means that from the approximately 16 400 members, 4 500 failed the test.

There is one shooting range in the province and there is apparently a lack of ammunition.
