Public Order Police supported by police from Muizenberg, neighbouring police stations and the City of Cape Town’s law enforcement officials have been keeping an eye on a situation in Hillview, Muizenberg where three yet to be identified persons were burnt to death on Sunday evening, 16 February 2020.
Detectives in their investigation are probing the murders as well as the motive. Thus far, the investigation has not yet determined the identities of the deceased as the bodies were badly burnt.

The situation in the area remained tense last night with police monitoring a group that gathered nearby. However no further incidences were reported overnight.
Police remain in the area as a precaution.
