Detectives from Kwanonqaba are actively pursuing multiple leads in the investigation of a fatal shooting that claimed the lives of two men in Asla Park on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 21:00 on 16 July 2025 at Umtata Crescent. According to preliminary police reports, officers responded to reports of gunfire in an open field. Upon arrival, they discovered two men with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced both victims dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet determined the motive behind the shooting, and the case remains under investigation. As of now, no arrests have been made.
