The Minister of Police, Mr Fikile Mbalula is motivated by the work of the South African Police Service ( SAPS ) during this festive season.

Minister Mbalula salutes the work of the Western Cape SAPS on their recent drug bust in Delft, Cape Town.

“Since we launched the Festive Season Operations our police men and women are working hard to keep our people safe. I commend the work of Western Cape provincial commissioner General KE Jula on the latest drug bust in Delft. This was one of many instances where SAPS smoked criminals out of their hiding holes, taking illegal firearms and drugs off the streets and discovering stolen goods. I salute all our police officers and thank them for serving and protecting South Africans during this busy time of the year,” Minister Mbalula said.

The SAPS are on high alert at all our ports of entries, national and regional roads and in all our communities.

Minister Mbalula urges South Africans to work together with the police in making our communities safer.
