A man, believed to be in his 40s, was killed on Saturday morning in an apparent assault in C J Langenhoven road in George.
ER24 paramedics received the call from a community member. Upon their arrival just before 09H30, they found a man lying on the sidewalk in front of a shop.
Sadly, the man sustained fatal injuries to his head and was declared dead by ER24 at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
