WESTERN CAPE – To participate in efforts to address the causes of crime, vigilant members attached to Kuilsrivier Crime Prevention Unit conducted a cluster operation in Kuilsrivier policing precinct.
At about 13:20, yesterday afternoon whilst busy with search warrants in Kalkfontein area, members received information regarding drugs that is being kept at a premises in Brenda Street, Kalkfontein, Kuilsrivier. On arrival at the address members searched it and found 400 mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R20 000 were found in the house.
A 66 year-old woman was arrested for possession of drugs and will appear in the Kuilsrivier Magistrate’s Court soon on the mentioned charges.
