The lucrative drug trade in this province has been dealt another blow with the arrest of two suspects on 11 December 2018, in Kraaifontein for dealing in drugs. Kraaifontein SAPS reacted on information of a Toyota Avanza transporting dagga to Cape Town.
The vehicle was intercepted on the N1 and searched. Dagga with a combined weight of 146.997kg and an estimated street value of R750 000 was confiscated.
The two suspects, a 30 year old male and a 24 year old female were arrested and are due to make a court appearance in Blue Downs once they have been charged with dealing in drugs.
