K9 unit sniffs out R320k worth of drugs, Worcester

The vigilance of K9 members and their sniffer dogs proved phenomenal when drugs were confiscated on 5 August 2021, in Worcester.

Members of the Worcester K9 Unit conducted an operation, and armed with a warrant, they searched a house in Mazula Street in Zweletemba.

Assisted by their well-trained dogs, drugs worth an estimated street value of R320 000,00 were confiscated. A 64-year-old man was arrested and detained.

The suspect made a court appearance in the Worcester Magistrates’ Court.
