Three suspects aged between 43 and 61 will appear in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 22 December 2021 on charges of fraud and corruption.

Hawks’ Serious Corruption Investigation team in Cape Town acted on information received about the suspects who were allegedly issuing unlawful vehicle roadworthy certificates to private individuals at the Goodwood testing station in Cape Town.

A search and seizure was conducted at the testing centre in November 2021, documents were seized for further investigation which culminated in the court summons being issued against the trio.
