Identikit: Delft taxi driver sought for rape

Delft FCS are seeking the assistance of the public in locating the whereabouts of a male suspect who is wanted in connection to a rape incident that took place in February 2020 in Leiden, Delft. According to reports, the victim took a taxi, driven by the suspect, to Delft.

The suspect drove to an unknown house and told the victim to get out of the vehicle. When the victim refused, the suspect pulled her out of the vehicle and took her inside a house where he proceeded to rape her. Thereafter, the suspect drove the victim to the taxi rank where he dropped her off.

An identikit of the suspect is herewith attached.

The police appeal to anyone with information that can assist in identifying the suspect to contact investigating officer Detective Sergeant Thandiwe Sodladla on 073 676 4936 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
