An intelligence driven operation conducted by a multidisciplinary team led to the arrest of a 35 year old male in Saldanha on 18 June 2019.
The members found a bag containing Tik and mandrax valued at a substantial amount and a 357 Mag Smith and Wesson Rifle with a scope with 29 rounds of ammunition that is linked to a housebreaking and theft case that was reported on 8 June 2019 at Saldana SAPS.
The suspect is expected to make a court appearance in Vredenburg Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 20 June 2019 on charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm with ammunition and dealing in drugs.
